A partnership between University College Dublin and the National Library of Ireland, the Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is a new landmark cultural institution in the heart of Ireland’s capital city.
The project entailed the refurbishment and extension of three listed buildings, two Georgian houses and one Victorian hall, to form the Ulysses Literary Centre with multimedia exhibition spaces, research facilities and a café set amongst tranquil gardens.
A literary museum on St. Stephens Green. The historic home of what is now UCD and the place where James Joyce studied.
"As with any project, we met obstacles which were dealt with extremely proactively and professionally by the Purcell team. Archaeological features and remains being the most substantial. The culture and level of problem solving capability demonstrated by Purcell was refreshing and infectious and proved to be invaluable in terms of delivery of the project."
