Construction of a new modern Art Gallery over two storey’s with a cantilevered walkway projecting over the River Shannon, along with extensive refurbishment of the existing Fr. Matthew Hall building.
In addition to the complexities of working alongside the river, remains of the ‘Connaught Wall’, a national monument was discovered during excavations and required a ministerial order for works to progress.
