Tom Whelan
Commercial Director
Tom has been in the Construction Industry since 1993 and commenced employment with Purcell in 2003 as a Senior Quantity Surveyor, working on a large variety of public and private projects.
In 2006, he was part of an MBO and was appointed Surveying Director, with overall responsibility for Quantity Surveying and Purchasing. In May 2022, Tom was appointed Commercial Director.
Tom manages a team of QS and purchasing professionals and is responsible for the commercial activities and performance of all projects. He holds an Honours Degree in Construction Economics from DIT Bolton Street.
