Works consisted of the demolition of the existing outbuildings within a confined space and construction of 24no. luxury apartments with basement carparking and hydraulic car lift. Conservation works included retention, underpinning and shoring of this listed Georgian facade and careful restoration including complete re-pointing of the brickwork.
The new build structure was constructed over a basement carpark, with secant piling to the perimeter of the site. The ground floor level ring beam / top of retaining wall beam was constructed off the ‘male’ piles, which supported the superstructure of the building.
