The Role

  • Provide technical and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements. 
  • Carry out setting out activities, monitor construction quality and ensure all works are completed in compliance with drawings, specifications, BCAR requirements and company standards. 
  • Coordinate and distribute accurate technical information to subcontractors and site personnel, while managing drawings, RFIs, method statements and construction records. 
  • Support site operations through quality inspections, programme monitoring, material approvals, BCAR administration and the implementation of corrective actions where required. 
  • Assist project teams with reporting, cost control, procurement and the management of resources, materials and site documentation. 

 

The Candidate

  • You will hold a Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline. 
  • You will have experience in site engineering, setting out and quality control within the construction industry. 
  • You will have a strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, Building Regulations and BCAR requirements. 
  • You will be an excellent communicator with strong organisational, technical and problem-solving skills. 
  • You will be capable of working both independently and as part of a project team in a fast-paced environment. 
  • You will have a strong focus on quality, safety and attention to detail.
