The Role

  • Monitor and promote compliance with company EHS policies, ISO management systems and all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations across project sites. 
  • Support the development of a positive safety culture by engaging with site teams, subcontractors and stakeholders, while driving behavioural safety initiatives and continuous improvement. 
  • Manage day-to-day EHS activities including site inspections, inductions, permit-to-work systems, RAMS reviews, safety queries and corrective actions. 
  • Assist project teams with risk management, environmental compliance, incident investigations, safety reporting and the implementation of EHS action plans. 
  • Provide leadership and support to junior EHS team members, monitor subcontractor performance and contribute to lessons learned and performance improvement initiatives. 

The Candidate

  • You will have significant experience in a Health, Safety and Environmental role within the construction industry. 
  • You will have a strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation, environmental management systems and ISO standards. 
  • You will be experienced in conducting site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations and RAMS reviews. 
  • You will be an effective communicator with the ability to influence positive safety behaviours and build strong working relationships across project teams. 
  • You will have strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • You will be committed to promoting a culture of safety, continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
