We achieve better outcomes when we have teams of people who think differently but work well together. The Opportunity You will be joining a leading Irish building contractor and  work as part of the Building Services Department team where you will be supported and provided with the opportunity develop and progress your career in Building Services management.

The Role

  • Lead and manage the design process from tender through to project completion, ensuring delivery in line with programme, contract requirements and client expectations 
  • Coordinate design teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors to ensure all design information is fully integrated, compliant and construction ready. 
  • Manage design programmes, technical submissions, RFIs, design reviews and information flow to support procurement and construction activities. 
  • Drive buildability, value engineering, risk management and compliance with Building Regulations, BCAR, planning conditions and industry standards. 
  • Act as the key design liaison between clients, consultants, subcontractors and project teams, providing leadership throughout the project lifecycle

 

The Candidate

  • You will hold a relevant degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management.
  • You will have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in the construction industry, including at least 3 years in a Design Management role within a Main Contractor, Consultant or Design & Build environment. 
  • You will have strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, BCAR requirements and Design & Build procurement. 
  • You will have proven experience managing multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and specialist subcontractors. 
  • You will be experienced in BIM, design coordination and document management systems. 
  • You will possess excellent leadership, communication, organisational and problem-solving skills. 
  • You will have strong technical, commercial and risk management awareness, with a focus on quality and project delivery. 
  • You will hold a full clean driving licence.
