The Role

  • Lead and manage the pre-construction process from tender stage through to project commencement and handover to operations teams. 
  • Coordinate tender reviews, bid submissions and project planning activities, working closely with estimating, design, commercial and delivery teams. 
  • Review drawings, specifications and technical information to identify project risks, opportunities and compliance requirements. 
  • Support design coordination, value engineering, construction methodologies, logistics planning and buildability reviews to develop effective project strategies. 
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and key stakeholders to ensure project proposals align with programme, budget and client expectations. 

 

The Candidate

  • You will have experience managing pre-construction activities within a Main Contractor or construction environment. 
  • You will have strong technical knowledge of construction methods, project planning and tender processes. 
  • You will be experienced in reviewing drawings, specifications and technical documentation, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities. 
  • You will possess excellent stakeholder management, communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams. 
  • You will have strong commercial awareness and experience supporting value engineering and buildability initiatives. 
  • You will be highly organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • You will be committed to delivering high-quality project outcomes and supporting successful project transitions from pre-construction to delivery. 
  • You will hold a full valid & clean driving licence.
