We recently attended the official opening of the Quayside Water Sports Centre, a transformative addition to Dublin’s North Docklands.
This state of the art facility is designed to incorporate essential facilities for Dublin Fire Brigades Water Rescue Service. While serving all age groups, offering kayaking, swimming, and paddleboarding while supporting sustainable practices and inclusive access to the River Liffey.
This was a highly complex but hugely enjoyable project to have been involved in. Apart from the works on terra ferma, the project also involved heavy piling into the River Liffey river bed from a floating barge and the provision of new large concrete pontoons and steel boardwalks.
