Limerick Courthouse

Extensive refurbishment and restoration of this historical Grade ‘A’ listed building and the provision of additional accommodation into the roof space, along with a boardwalk to the side and rear of the building, over the River Shannon.

The old wall of Limerick was uncovered during excavations and it remains exposed as a lit feature in the foyer. This project was honoured with the OPUS Building of the Year Award, Restoration and Conservation Category in 2003.
